Day 83 | DECEMBER 02, 2021

Good Evening Friends, today is day 83 of our new and amazing life.

Today Charlie had a good day.

She started her early day and today she did half body air drying and she did really well, clinically speaking it has been no changes which is great, no fever , no issues, she is stable and ready for her big surgery tomorrow, this will be Charlie’s 3rd CEA surgery, they will cover her arms and some spots on her chest, and they will also place ear tubes to drain her ears and hopefully improve her hearing and her quality of life, this is a big deal, it hopefully will get Charlie passed the halfway mark on her CEA surgeries, we shall see.

Tomorrow is also the day, they will shave Charlie’s hair off , I spoke with her about it and how she felt about it, Charlie was so gracious and said , I am ok with it, anything to get me home faster, I have no doubt that Charlie will remain just as beautiful as she is now with a shaved head

Today we just kept up with our routine, watched a couple episodes of Yellowstone and finished Dexter. I love the consistency of our visits this week, I know tomorrow will be different, due to her long surgery tomorrow.

She continues to heal very well. I am very grateful and hopeful that tomorrow's surgery will be a success, I kindly ask for your prayers for a successful surgery tomorrow.

It has been a while since I asked for anything. Would you be willing to tell me , what is the one lesson or inspiration you have been able to take from Charlie’s story that has had a positive impact on your life.

I would really appreciate reading the positive impact, if any, this journal may have .

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.

May God Bless You!

Cheering on Charlie.

On Friday, September 10th, Charlie Anne Xavier was in a horrific and life-changing accident. Though she’s surprising her doctors and nurses daily with her incredible strength and resilience, this road to recovery will be an incredibly long one.
