Day 74 | NOVEMBER 23, 2021

Good Evening Friends, today is day 74 of our new and amazing life !

Today was a good day.

Charlie remains stable and in good spirits.

Today I feel better, I am less frustrated, I really appreciate your kind words and support, I was also able to identify the source of my frustration, it does come down to the fact Charlie’s trachea color was not downsized and because of it she can’t talk , eat or drink, until this happens, I will remain somewhat frustrated, but as I said , I am not going to dwell in negative feelings, I have so much to be grateful for.

Today’s visit was a little short, since I wanted to be back home in time to put the boys to bed.

Charlie was in good spirits, she was awake and off the ventilator when I arrived , today she was off the ventilator from 1p until 8pm.

The reason why she is off for some time and back on at night, is due to the fact that her CO2 level is elevated, and the ventilator helps to expel the CO2.

I was made aware of the roller coaster her healing process would be, and it is hard when we come down, but also amazing when we go up.

I really appreciate your prayers and support.

I chose to be grateful today!

Thank you and May God Bless You .

Cheering on Charlie.

On Friday, September 10th, Charlie Anne Xavier was in a horrific and life-changing accident. Though she’s surprising her doctors and nurses daily with her incredible strength and resilience, this road to recovery will be an incredibly long one.
