Day 70 | NOVEMBER 19, 2021
Good Evening Friends, today is day 70 of our new and amazing life.
Today was a good day.
Charlie underwent her usual surgery of allografts replacement and wound care, she did very well and had no issues, Thank you God!
I asked her doctor what was the CEA take for this last round and he said it was around 75% and he was very pleased, this number is likely to increase in the next week, keep in mind Epicel brochure advertises the average take to be 73.6% so, we still above average:)
Charlie remains in the ventilator tonight and they will try to get her off tomorrow, let’s pray for that .
We continued our Yellowstone show. It is just lovely to have some routine during our visits. It adds a level of normality to the hospital room.
Today our youngest turned 11 months old, Baby Julien is growing so fast and he is just so adorable. I am so grateful for all the help our friends are providing with our boys !
One thing that I never expected before the accident, the power behind being Vulnerable, how it allows your feelings, positive or negative to be expressed, It allows you to be yourself, it gives you freedom.
It is not easy and requires a huge amount of courage, I am grateful that I was able to become vulnerable during our journey, now I can see the benefits.
I invite you to be vulnerable in your life as well, it is liberating.
I am very thankful for your support and encouragement, we still have a long road ahead of us, and I am start to looking forward the day this journal may end, that will be day Charlie will be home, and maybe you will hear Charlie’s Journey from her own words
But no need to worry, we still have many more days to go.
May God Bless You.
André
