Day 64 | NOVEMBER 13, 2021

Good evening friends, today is day 64 of our new and amazing life!

Today for a change I was able to go to the hospital around 10:30am, since Charlie had no air dry time today, they can only start 24h after the initial application of the CEA.

Charlie was in great spirits today, she said she was able to rest well the night before.

She remains on the ventilator as a precaution, but in a very low seating, the goal is to have her off the ventilator in the next few days.

Today we talked about the boys:), they went for a Christmas photo shoot and Charlie is so excited to see their pictures!

Charlie asked to watch some TV and we ended up watching a show on Amazon Prime.

We also talked about tomorrow’s big event. Our friends are holding a fundraiser for Charlie’s medical bills at Patch Brewing Co. hopefully I will meet some of you there, and even if you can’t come , you can bid on some incredible prizes, like a cruise, Hotel stays.

This will be my first time back at Patch in public since the accident, I will do my best to hold my emotions in place, but forgive me if you see me crying, I just don’t know how I will react being there with so many friends.

I continue to be grateful, I am looking forward to tomorrow’s event, and I continue to pray that Charlie continues to recover as well as she has been .

Thank you for your prayers and support!

May God Bless You.

André

Cheering on Charlie.

On Friday, September 10th, Charlie Anne Xavier was in a horrific and life-changing accident. Though she’s surprising her doctors and nurses daily with her incredible strength and resilience, this road to recovery will be an incredibly long one.
