Day 63 | NOVEMBER 12, 2021

Good Evening Friends, today is day 63 of our new and amazing life!

Today is a day of Gratitude!

I am grateful that Charlie’s surgery and the application of her CEA skin was a success!

Charlie now has CEA on her left side, placed today and her right side is pretty much healed. I am so happy because this second CEA surgery gets Charlie one step closer to her coming home date. She still has a long road ahead of her , but it is a big step in the right direction.

I am also grateful for your generosity! I didn’t expect so many people to donate last night after my post, I am very humbled by your generosity.

I am grateful for your prayers! Charlie is stable and well, I really appreciate your prayers and positive thoughts.

I am grateful for Our friends and the local community, I am beyond humbled by their generosity. There are so many incredible items in the silent auction organized by our wonderful friends, I am forever grateful for all your support towards Charlie and our family!

I am grateful for God’s grace in preserving my wife’s life, on the day of her horrific accident!

I am grateful for her first responders, placed at the right place and the right time to provide the best possible first response to Charlie !

I am grateful for Charlie’s Doctors and Nurses and the whole hospital staff , for giving my wife the best possible care 24/7.

I am grateful for my family, who stopped their life’s in Brazil and came over to be with me and my boys to help me in the darkest moment of my life ! I will never forget your selfless act!

I am grateful for this new found gift of writing, Only God and Charlie knows how much I don’t know how to write, and yet , here I am writing every day for thousands of people, for that I am Grateful and also humbled .

I am grateful for every single person that has prayed, donated, helped, sent a card, shared Charlie’s story, Thank you!

Today I am beyond grateful !

Thank you and May God Bless You !

André

Cheering on Charlie.

On Friday, September 10th, Charlie Anne Xavier was in a horrific and life-changing accident. Though she’s surprising her doctors and nurses daily with her incredible strength and resilience, this road to recovery will be an incredibly long one.
