Day 62 | NOVEMBER 11, 2021

Good Evening Friends, today is day 62 of our new and amazing life!

Charlie remains stable and is much more alert today, she is no longer on any sedatives, she remains on the ventilator just as a precaution, the goal is to keep her stable for tomorrow’s trip to the OR and application of her CEA skin!

I am much more grateful today, a big improvement from my feelings from yesterday, and I can assure you that it is so much better to be grateful than anxious . I really appreciate all your comments and support.

Charlie was in a good mood today, we talked about her surgery tomorrow and I told her about the delay on her downsizing trach collar, and she was so sweet and told me that was ok, so if she is not upset, why should I, thank you Charlie for being so strong and resilient.

We talked about our little boy's upcoming Christmas photo shoot. Charlie asks me to make sure they have matching PJs , she is so present and always thinking about every detail about the Boys! It is so promising when Charlie is able to offer me advice or help , I really appreciate her and God knows how much help I need with the Boys day to day.

As we wait for tomorrow’s surgery, I am confident yet cautiously optimistic that all will go well, and Charlie will remain stable and have a successful surgery, it is a big step towards her coming home date, please pray for her and her doctors tomorrow, she will go into the OR early around 7:30am.

As I gave her a good night kiss, I just felt her love and I reassured her that tomorrow surgery will go well.

I normally don’t like to ask for donations directly, but I would like to ask for your help, if each person in this group could come together and donate $14.75 each, we could achieve Charlie’s Go fund me Goal !

I know how much Charlie is worried about her medical bills, I would love to tell Charlie that we have achieved our Goal when she returns from the OR tomorrow and offer her a little peace of mind during this challenging time.

I really appreciate your generosity and prayers!

Today was a good day! And tomorrow will be an even better day!

Thank you and may God bless you !

Cheering on Charlie.

On Friday, September 10th, Charlie Anne Xavier was in a horrific and life-changing accident. Though she’s surprising her doctors and nurses daily with her incredible strength and resilience, this road to recovery will be an incredibly long one.
