Day 58 | NOVEMBER 07, 2021

Good Evening Friends, today is actually day 58!

I somehow lost count of the days, I apologize.

What a beautiful day this Sunday was, we had a perfect fall day!

Part of being grateful is to admire nature and the little things that God has created around us !

Sunday for us is our Church day and God knows how much my soul craves my time at Mass, our parish has a beautiful choir and their songs speaks to my soul, it is the time I have with God, where I pour in my prayers and thank him for all his daily miracles on our life’s, it is the time I ask him for strength, wisdom and faith to continue to carry his will, Our life is so different now, but me continuing to go to mass brings me such a comfort and gives me the strength to keep on going.

Charlie was just finished with her air drying when I arrived. She was tired and asked to take a nap. After she rested we visited and she asked for the boys' pictures and we chatted .

Earlier today her nurse called me because Charlie had an important message for me, she wanted me to bring her nail clippers, so I stopped by the Pharmacy and got her new clippers and a filing kit, anything that I bring in , must be brand new, and we also sanitize it before bringing in , sadly the nurses are not allowed to cut nails!! So I did my best and cut her toenails and fingernails and filed them. Charlie approved my work .

We are still waiting for her blood cultures and her pulmonary culture as well, Charlie remains fever free, so I remain hopeful that she does not have any infection.

Today’s visit was one for Charlie to rest, we didn’t talk much, but that is ok, just been here is enough to give me peace, Charlie is healing very well, and this coming Friday is another big day for us, her second batch of CEA will arrive and maybe, just maybe her doctor will downsize her tracheae collar size, and if he does, Charlie will be able to speak , I ask you to join me in prayer for this to happen on this coming Friday!

Well, tonight I once again would like to remind you to hug your loved ones, to call that friend that you haven’t talked to in a while, just reach out, you never know when someone just needs to talk.

Thank you for your continued support and prayers.

May God Bless You !

Cheering on Charlie.

On Friday, September 10th, Charlie Anne Xavier was in a horrific and life-changing accident. Though she’s surprising her doctors and nurses daily with her incredible strength and resilience, this road to recovery will be an incredibly long one.
