Day 53 | NOVEMBER 02, 2021
Good Evening Friends, today is day 53 of our new and amazing life!
Today Charlie went to the OR for her routine surgery of replacement of allografts and wound care, once again her doctor is beyond pleased with her progress and healing, she will return to the OR this Friday for the same surgery and in preparation for next Friday!
As you know next Friday is her second batch of CEA skin application , she will receive 52 sheets on her right side, once again her wound beds are looking very good witch is great for the success of the CEA.
I remain grateful for Charlie’s progress and healing, I am a believer in the power of prayer, thank you for all your prayers and please continue to pray. Charlie remains without a fever and no sign of infection, thank you God!
Today I arrived at the hospital around 5:20pm, later than usual since Charlie OR trip didn’t happen until this afternoon.
But the timing worked out, since this morning I had a parent/teacher at London School, and I was so happy to hear about his progress and how compassionate and kind he is. That made me so proud of our little boy , his personality is just like Charlie’s.
I am still in disbelief on how generous our community has been towards our family, it is so humbling.
Today I also had a meeting with a very generous friend that is donating her time and talents to design our house modifications to accommodate Charlie needs. Once she is home, God willing by Easter next year!
This will be a big expense and that is one of the reasons why I asked for your help with the Go fund me yesterday, I pray that God will show us the best way to go about the house modifications, that way we can have a comfortable and functional home for Charlie to return to and feel welcome.
As I remain very grateful for all the blessings and especially for Charlie’s recovery and infection free ICU stay.
I would like to ask you , what are you really grateful for today ? And if you don’t have anything to be grateful for right now, what would take for you to become grateful?
I would love to know it, so I can pray for you !
Thank you, May God Bless You!
