Day 255 | MAY 23, 2022

Good evening, Friends, today is day 255 of our new and amazing life!

Today was a good day!

We are continuing to make amazing progress with the modifications, it is great to see the bathroom almost finished, tile is done, toilet, shower and sink are in, tomorrow we will make even more progress, the rest of the bathroom, doors, ramp and ceiling lift all goes in tomorrow, painter and floor on Wednesday, and window treatment on Thursday morning:), just in time to welcome Charlie home on Thursday early afternoon!

I am beyond anxious and excited and grateful to welcome Charlie home, I am so thankful to our incredible friends for all the help and offers of help, you are all amazing!

I made my way to see Charlie this afternoon, and today she was very happy. She had her favorite hair stylist and friend cut and dye her hair, just in time for her return to home day! Charlie is able to become more beautiful with each hair cut 🙂, let her know what you think of her new hair.

We ordered Pizza and had a fun dinner together, and we talked about her return home, specifically how exciting it is going to be her first night at home with her boys.

Today Charlie broke her own record, she walked with the assistance of the walker, 520 feet, she was so proud!

She also had her first walk and talk with her Dr. and she said it was great to be able to talk with her standing up, and not in bed or in her chair, I know that Charlie is dreaming of the day she will walk again, God willing this day will come.

tomorrow I am going to wake up early, before 5a, in order to get the garage ready for the ramp installers, and I am also going to SAI for my second session of family training.

I apologize for the short journal entry last night, I had an incident due to my PTSD and it was very difficult to write, I apologize.
