Day 247 | MAY 15, 2022
Good evening, Friends, today is day 247 of our new and amazing life!
Today was a very good day!
This Sunday was a little different, I usually don’t visit Charlie on Sundays', but today we did.
The usual routine of London coming to my bed for Cartoons on the weekends continues and it was how we started our morning today.
After breakfast, London, Julien and I made our way to see Charlie, and today we took our minivan. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the minivan is! It was a very smooth ride to SAI.
Now that we have the ADA placard, I was able to park very close to the entrance, and Charlie was there waiting for us.
I stopped at Panera Bread on the way, so I had our lunches with me when I arrived.
We had an incredible Lunch, and today for the first time since the accident, Charlie was able to feed baby Julien, she feed him yogurt, and I know it sounds so simple, but the meaning of this simple act it was unbelievable for Charlie, she felt so amazing, she said, I feel like a mom again!! It was the best lunch yet!!
After Lunch, Charlie gifted the boys their toys, and Julien loved Mrs. Potato Head, and London also loved his operation game!
It was a fun game session with the boys!
Around 2pm, we had to say goodbye, because it was very warm, and as we know, Charlie needs to watch her body and avoid overheating.
But before we left, we wanted to see if Charlie would fit in the van with her chair, and we are so happy that she does, and it has so much space for her to be comfortable!
Today's visit was a very special one! We are just so blessed!
Earlier this evening, Charlie and I had this incredible, profound conversation, and one of the things that we both are practicing is to focus on today, the present, because when we do that, we have so much to be grateful for!
Ware trying to focus very little in the future, because if we do, we will be so anxious, mainly because there is so much unknown, and we can’t control anything that has not happened yet, and the past, oh the past, we again try to not focus on it at all, because if we do, we may become angry, and what is the point? It has already happened!
So, tonight I invite you to join us, and focus on today, the present and you will see how abundant your life is!
We are so Blessed, God has given us so much, and we are so grateful for today!
May God Bless You!
André
