Day 243 | MAY 11, 2022

Good evening, Friends, today is day 243 of our new and amazing life.

Today Charlie broke a new record 🙂

This morning as usual, Charlie called to say good morning to the boys before school, and London was so excited to see mommy, and now Julien is also excited to see mommy, that made Charlie so happy!

Charlie had two of her very good friends on the schedule to visit her today, so we decided that it would be better if i didn’t go to visit, so Charlie could have her girl time, and I am happy to oblige, she deserves any and all fun times with her friends.

Knowing this I planned a busy and productive day, after a busy morning with work, after lunch I took London for our hair cut, it had been almost 3 weeks since our last haircut, normally we go every 2 weeks, so tivera time as London would say, to look sharp, sharp like a knife 🙂

After haircuts, I made my way to Patch Brewing Co. This is not my first visit since the accident, but it was a visit with a purpose.

It was great to see Patch vibrant with people. I was not expecting to be that busy, it was such a pleasant surprise, I was able to talk with our staff and to sit down with my business partner and his dad, the two men responsible for the amazing renovation work being done at Patch.

I am slowly working towards a goal of overcoming my own issues in relationship to the accident and Patch, so today was a positive first step.

Now, back to Charlie!

She had a great day, she woke up less groggy, they have reduced her night time meds and so far, so good.

Her shower chair for house use has arrived today, it is becoming real her arrival home, I have so much work ahead of me before she can return home.

Today Charlie had a great PT session, and her new record on the Swedish walker was the fact that Charlie “walked” 480 feet!

This is so exciting, each day she is making progress in the right direction.

I am grateful for your prayers towards little Lucy, and I am happy to report that her surgery was successful and she is making good progress. Please continue to pray for her body to not reject the new heart.

Thank you for all your support and prayers.

May God bless you!

Look at my beautiful wife!!

Cheering on Charlie.

On Friday, September 10th, Charlie Anne Xavier was in a horrific and life-changing accident. Though she’s surprising her doctors and nurses daily with her incredible strength and resilience, this road to recovery will be an incredibly long one.
