Day 237 | MAY 05, 2022

Good evening, Friends, today is day 237 of our new and amazing life!

Today I had a very busy day, but I feel that I accomplished a lot!

After lunch I made my way to see Charlie. I arrived there a little earlier, since we had a Teacher/Parent video call with London’s teacher, it was so good to be there with Charlie. The level of normalcy this brought to us, is so welcome.

London is making us proud, he is smart, kind and very funny 🙂, just like his mommy.

Charlie and I had a great visit, we talked about her appointment at the wheelchair clinic. They will let her take home the current chair she is using, until her custom chair is being made. Charlie is very pleased with this Chair.

We also received some good news, our insurance confirmed that they have found an agency to provide 24/7 in home care for Charlie, this is huge news for us, plus other things approved.

I also may have found the perfect van for our family. I have made the deposit and on Saturday I will test drive and decide if we want to buy it, but I am pretty sure this is it!

More discussion about the book, it is just amazing to read what we have so far and travel back to the first weeks after the accident, just incredible how far have we come! The feeling of gratitude is inevitable when we look back!

God has given us a true miracle!

Since we had more time today, we watched our tv shows, and also started to discuss Charlie’s needs once home. There is so much that I need to do in order to have our home ready for her!

I continue to be grateful to our construction team, they are moving fast and on time! Thank you, guys!

I am going to bed very tired, but also very grateful for this blessed day!

I thank you for your support and love.

May God Bless You!

The picture below is from Charlie’s window, she received this adorable gift, and today as I looked at the window, I noticed the Cross, God is always present.

Cheering on Charlie.

On Friday, September 10th, Charlie Anne Xavier was in a horrific and life-changing accident. Though she’s surprising her doctors and nurses daily with her incredible strength and resilience, this road to recovery will be an incredibly long one.
