Good evening, friends, today is day 234 of our new and amazing life!
Today was a good day.
Charlie had a busy day with PT and OT, she continues to improve daily, she walked on the walker a little over 365 feet, knowing Charlie she is working hard to beat her own record ๐
I had the most amazing conversation with Charlie, I can only say that she is in a fantastic place in her mind, she is determined to face her limitations head on, and she is laser focused on regaining her ability to walk!
She knows it is not going to be easy, there is a lot of pain ahead of her, but she is willing to keep on pushing!
I am so in love with her incredible strength, I just donโt know how she does, and I am so blessed to be at her side.
Charlie is really looking forward to coming home, I can almost hear her voice in our house, her suit is starting to take shape.
Our visit today was very low key, we talked mostly about the book, we are finalizing the cover artwork, and also the title, it is just amazing to have her input.
Tomorrow Charlie is very excited to have two dear friends coming to visit.
The search continues for the accessible van.
Today, something very sweet happened during our visit. Her friends from the amazing One Fit Mother group, called her on video during their award ceremonies, and during a musical performance, Charlie's eyes were shining! She was so happy to see her friends having a good time at Patch Brewing CoI asked her, are you thinking and wishing you were there?
She said, no, I am thinking about how I will be there next year!! She is so grateful for this group of women! They have done so much for our family!
