Day 233 | MAY 01, 2022

Good Evening Friends, today is day 233 of our new and amazing life .

Today was a day to focus on our house, as we get closer to bring Charlie home , every single detail is important, tomorrow the renovation crew is back , and new vendors will come in to give us their quotes.

I spent my morning with the boys, we played outside and had so much fun! Baby Julien loves the outdoors now, and follows London all around.

I didn’t visit Charlie today as usual, but we did talk a couple times and she had a very good day.

She achieved a milestone yesterday on her PT , she was able to walk on her special walker 419 feet at once !! This is a new record for her.

Just to think that we were told that she would probably never walk again, well she still is not walking yet , but she is making incredible steps towards it, it is just so amazing to witness it !

Her PT asked her to bring her own tennis shoes, to see if she can wear it, since now her dropped feet has improved so much !

Each day is a blessing, and we do enjoy it , because nothing is guaranteed as we now know it first hand.

Charlie and I are now enjoying the new episodes of Ozark, and it is so amazing to have Charlie to watch our favorite shows together.

Today, She and I talked about the first kiss we shared after the accident happened, it was around December I think, and for the first time she told me how amazing and special that was, it is hard to find the time to think about us as a couple, but part of this journey, is our love story, we have transcended into a level of love, never imagined by us before and it was fueled by Pain, fear, sorrow and hardship and we are so grateful to God for this second chance , we are committed to live our best lives as a couple and as a family .

Today, I am going to bed full of gratitude and content, I am ready for the next chapter of this Journey, it will be here sooner than we think.

May God Bless You .

Cheering on Charlie.

On Friday, September 10th, Charlie Anne Xavier was in a horrific and life-changing accident. Though she’s surprising her doctors and nurses daily with her incredible strength and resilience, this road to recovery will be an incredibly long one.
