Day 231 | APRIL 29, 2022
Good evening, Friends, today is day 231 of our new and amazing life.
I will jump straight into my visit with Charlie today, it was the best!
I picked up dinner for us and a friend at one of Charlie’s favorite places in town, a cute Italian little window restaurant.
I arrived and Charlie was waiting for me outside in the garden, she looked so beautiful.
We talked and just enjoyed the last minutes of the Sun, and it felt so good to be outside again with Charlie.
Shortly after, our friend arrived and we started our amazing Italian dinner.
I didn’t realize how much being outside with Charlie recharges me. You are right, the best medicine is the Sun, but the sun and the love of my life is exactly what I need.
Our dear friend had a pop-up shopping experience with Charlie. She brought several ear rings, sunglasses and cute accessories for Charlie to “shop”, I can’t even begin to tell you how much Charlie loved the surprise, it was a legit boutique experience!
It warms my heart to see how much love is geared towards Charlie from her friends and strangers, the daily acts of kindness received really makes me want to give it back and be just as kind towards others as you are kind towards us.
It is true, when we give, it goes around many more times than when you receive, I am so grateful for all what you have done and continue to do for my family.
We had such a fun evening, we ate Al fresco, they shopped, we laughed and talked, and in those moments, it is almost like we forget how much our lives have changed, and at the end of the night, I am so grateful for the second Chance given to us by God.
It was great to see Charlie, having fun and just being a girl, shopping with her friend, I don’t ever want to forget that before Her being a mother, my wife, Charlie was just a beautiful young girl, full of dreams and aspirations like so many in the world, and this girl has gone through so much, that she deserves every and single moment of joy in her life, and it is my duty to provide her with the most happiness and love for the rest of our lives.
