Day 219 | APRIL 17, 2022

Good evening, Friends, today is day 219 of our new and amazing life!

Happy Easter!

What a beautiful and blessed Easter we had; I hope you also had a blessed day with your family.

We started the day by finding the half-eaten carrot left by the Easter Bunny, and the boys had so much fun with their Basket’s contents.

After a delicious breakfast, we all made our way to Mass. Julien and London looked adorable on their Easter outfits and my mom and I really enjoyed the Mass.

After Church, we came home and had lunch. I made my way to see Charlie in the afternoon.

Today Charlie had a morning session with her hand therapist and after that she had the day off from the other therapies. She looked beautiful today and we met outside for a little while the sun was out.

We had a video call with the boys, and London was so excited to show mommy his Easter Basket!

Charlie and talked today, I was a little bummed about this year’s Easter when compared to our previous years, and Charlie and I discussed how we need to learn that in this new life, a lot of things will not be like before and that is ok, because the most important is that we have each other, and that is what matter the most, it is not easy to accept the new reality, but it is necessary and with time I will learn this lesson.

We also talked about how much our faith has helped us during this journey, and how grateful we are to God for his miracle.

Charlie did finish her Egg decorating, and we will cherish this Eggs for years to come in our family!

Today was a blessed day and I am so grateful for Charlie’s life!

I am also thankful for your prayers and support.

May God Bless You!

Cheering on Charlie.

On Friday, September 10th, Charlie Anne Xavier was in a horrific and life-changing accident. Though she’s surprising her doctors and nurses daily with her incredible strength and resilience, this road to recovery will be an incredibly long one.
