Day 210 | APRIL 8, 2022

Good evening, Friends, today is day 210 of our new and amazing life!

Today’s morning call with Charlie was very sweet, baby Julien now really interacts with mommy, and Charlie absolutely loves to watch him play with London, it is just amazing to see her eyes. There is so much love, It is clear that they are a main motivation for her survival.

I arrived to see Charlie around 5:30p and she immediately ask me to organize and clean up her room. She had one of her mom friends coming over and Charlie always has a clean and organized room for her visitors.

We chatted briefly about her assessment. She is still waiting for a meeting with PT, so today she met with OT, and her progress is clear. She has improved in every category on her upper body, and that is the best news we wanted to hear!

I can’t wait until she meets with PT and we learn about her progress on her dropped foot.

Today her visitor brought us dinner and we had such a great visit, we had an incredible discussion about Charlie’s strength and her motivation to keep fighting, and one thing that I admire so much about Charlie is how humble she is, it is so refreshing to hear from our friends, their opinions and point of views about Charlie’s Recovery journey.

Today Charlie tested a new wheelchair. This chair will allow her to be in a standing position, and she is so excited about it! She said, I will be able to open our fridge, reach our cabinets, she was so happy.

Today we had a very pleasant and fun visit, thank you friend for making us laugh.

May God Bless You!

André

Cheering on Charlie.

On Friday, September 10th, Charlie Anne Xavier was in a horrific and life-changing accident. Though she’s surprising her doctors and nurses daily with her incredible strength and resilience, this road to recovery will be an incredibly long one.
