Day 209 | APRIL 7, 2022

Good evening, Friends, today is day 209 of our new and amazing life!

Today was a good day!

Charlie had asked me to arrive a little earlier today because her OT wanted to show me a few ranges of motion exercises for me to work with Charlie in the evenings.

I arrived on time to also see her wound care, and I was so excited to see how well her skin is healing!

She has healed almost 96%of her legs! A huge improvement since I last saw her skin, about 2 weeks ago.

To see her progressing so well, it really gives me hope that she will return home in the near future.

Today Charlie prepared her famous Kale salad. She was so happy to be able to cut the kale, mix the ingredients, she felt capable and very happy!

We had a great conversation about our new life and how grateful we are to have this second chance, and we pray that we continue to be strong and trusting in God as we progress on this journey.

Cheering on Charlie.

On Friday, September 10th, Charlie Anne Xavier was in a horrific and life-changing accident. Though she’s surprising her doctors and nurses daily with her incredible strength and resilience, this road to recovery will be an incredibly long one.
