Day 203 | APRIL 1, 2022

Good evening, Friends, today is day 203 of our new and amazing life!

Well, today I am sure I provided an enormous number of laughs and fun! I was pranked 4 times today! But one takes the prize! And guess who’s behind it?!!

After the usual busy day, I made my way to see my beautiful wife, and upon arrival, I was informed by the front desk person that Charlie had already received 2 visitors today and I was not allowed to proceed!

I was very surprised to hear that, since I have access to her visitor schedule and I knew that no one was scheduled besides me.

I remained calm, but very confused and the Front desk person said, why don’t you try to call your wife and ask her who visited her.

I replied, what difference would it make? If she already had 2 visitors, knowing who visited would not change anything, I finally called Charlie and she revealed the prank!

That was a good well-orchestrated prank Charlie, well done!

Once I arrived at her room, she was all smiles. Charlie had a very good day today. She now has these special shoes that have a platform to help her walk with her drop foot, and she walked today on a special walker and she did 60 steps at once!

You have no idea how much joy it brings me to hear about her progress and how she is actually walking, and just to look back and remember that not long ago, I was told that she would not be able to walk! Once again, God’s miracle is presented in our life’s!

Charlie also did a good session with OT; she is getting stronger and her range of motion is improving.

One of our dear friends came by and brought us dinner, and after visiting with the friend, we decided to rent a movie and we watched The Dog. It was such a sweet movie, we both enjoyed it.

That is why my post is so late today.

Have a good night and God Bless You!

Cheering on Charlie.

On Friday, September 10th, Charlie Anne Xavier was in a horrific and life-changing accident. Though she’s surprising her doctors and nurses daily with her incredible strength and resilience, this road to recovery will be an incredibly long one.
