Day 198 | MARCH 27, 2022

Good evening, Friends, today is day 198 of our new and amazing life!

Today was a good day.

Sunday has now become my day with the family, since Charlie is receiving two visitors and that is the max allowed on a day, so I don’t visit her on Sundays.

Today I wanted to focus on my mom, she has been an incredible help and I know that I don’t express enough how grateful I am for her unconditional love and help, Charlie is also so grateful for her help. One of God’s many blessings is that my mother was here when the accident happened, so she was here to help.

One of our amazing mom friends made a generous offer to take our boys on a play date with her child and they were gone from 10am until 4pm.

Charlie video called us today, a couple of times and it was so good to show her the boys. She had so much fun with her visitors today. She also misses my visit, but tomorrow I will be back.

My mom and out took advantage of our time and I took her shopping, we had a nice lunch in a restaurant, it has been months since we had a meal inside of a restaurant, it did feel a little strange to be in a restaurant without Charlie, but I did my best to be present with my mom and had such a good time!

I just want to thank our amazing local community for embracing us from day one and for supporting and loving us. Your kindness and generosity are beyond amazing and I am so grateful for all of you!

Of course, we have received love and support from all over the country and the world and we are so grateful for it as well, but our Local community embraced us and continues to support us!

It is so beautiful when people come to me when I am at the store on my weekly grocery run. Most of the time I don’t know them, but they know me and I can just feel genuine kindness towards us when they recognize me. I really enjoy meeting some of you in the real world. I can’t wait until the day we can all meet with Charlie.

I just have so much to be grateful for!

London and Julien made a beautiful painting for mommy!

Thank you and May God Bless You!

Cheering on Charlie.

On Friday, September 10th, Charlie Anne Xavier was in a horrific and life-changing accident. Though she’s surprising her doctors and nurses daily with her incredible strength and resilience, this road to recovery will be an incredibly long one.
