Day 196 | MARCH 25, 2022

Good evening, Friends, today is day 196 of our new and amazing life!

Busy mornings are becoming the norm, London and Julien are enjoying mommy morning calls.

Today, Charlie had another incredible friend visiting her. I had the idea that I would arrive a little later to see Charlie, so she could have some girl time with her friend. Shortly after 4:30 pm, Charlie called and asked why I was not there yet! Well, I tried to explain but she didn’t want to hear, she said that she did not want to miss any minute of our time together:), so I left it right away to see Charlie!

When I arrived there, her good friend was already there and they were almost done with their dinner, so they did have some alone time, it was a great visit and Charlie really enjoyed her visit. I also had the opportunity to thank our friend, she has done so much for us!

Charlie really enjoys her friends' visits and everyone has been so kind and amazing, it is really lifting her spirits!

Charlie received a few cards today and some gifts! Thank you!

One very special card came from the VCU burn unit, and to see how much love and kind words they wrote for Charlie was very moving! Some nurses said that they will never forget Charlie, some said that she inspired them in a very special way, and they all expressed how kind and strong Charlie is! It is amazing how much love Charlie received from the amazing staff at the VCU burn unit, I can’t wait for the day Charlie will meet with them outside of the hospital!!

We also received an incredible giant card and gifts from our friends at our Parish, Holy Comforter. Thank you so much!

Charlie continues to make progress with her PT and OT, I am hopeful that next week will be a great way! Since her RA meds will start to kick in!

Thank you for your continued support!

May God Bless You!

Cheering on Charlie.

On Friday, September 10th, Charlie Anne Xavier was in a horrific and life-changing accident. Though she’s surprising her doctors and nurses daily with her incredible strength and resilience, this road to recovery will be an incredibly long one.
