Day 186 | MARCH 15, 2022

Good evening, Friends, today is day 186 of our new and amazing new life!

Today was a good day!

Every morning now at 8 am, I call Charlie and sometimes she does answer and in case she misses my call, she calls back, because she wants to see our boys, that is the time we are having breakfast and she loves to see baby Julien and to say goodbye to London as he gets ready to leave to school.

It is a great way to keep Charlie involved in our day to day.

I made my way as usual to see Charlie around 3pm, and arrived there at 4:20p, I made a stop At Wegmans to pick up orange juice for Charlie. She dislikes the OJ at SAI.

Charlie had a very good day with PT and OT and for the first time, she was allowed to ride her wheelchair up on the elevator all by herself, she told me in confidence that when she got out of the elevator on the 3rd floor, there is this very long hallway down to her room, she is laughing so hard as she tells me this, I looked around and there was no one, so I changed my wheelchair speed from slow indoor to very fast outdoor and haul ass!! She said it went so fast that she could feel the wind in her face 🙂! I wish you could see her face of accomplishment as she was telling me her mischievous moment!

Oh Charlie! You have always been a very fun and adventurous person!

We had a very pleasant visit and we watched some tv.

When I was about to leave, I told Charlie that I got her 5 new dresses, and I was so excited to show her my purchases!

As I showed her the 5 dresses, she looked at me and in a very serious face, told me those are nightgowns!!! Are you serious?!

She was genuinely upset with me! She demanded that I don’t buy her any clothes without checking with her!! I guess, I don’t know the difference between a dress and a nightgown!!

I just told her, but the clothes you need and I will return the ones I purchased! Since they are not even dresses! It is hard to buy women's clothes!!

But at least we had a lot of good laughs today!

May God Bless You!

And please continue to sign up for the blog! We still need more people in there!

Hello friends, I intended to post this yesterday, but I could not do so. Here it is: Two years ago, life as we knew it ceased to exist; today is a day of mixed emotions, lots of gratitude but also ang

Cheering on Charlie.

On Friday, September 10th, Charlie Anne Xavier was in a horrific and life-changing accident. Though she’s surprising her doctors and nurses daily with her incredible strength and resilience, this road to recovery will be an incredibly long one.
