Day 173 | MARCH 02, 2022
Good Evening Friends, today is day 173 of our new and amazing new life!
Well, it will be hard to forget how amazing yesterday was!
Today the feeling of gratitude is more intense, just so much to be grateful for, the love and support we continue to receive is just incredible, I continue to be humbled by it.
Charlie had a busy day today, on her first day there she met the team that will be taking care of her, she had a very good first impression of the team, in special her new Doctor, his name is Dr. Carter and he are very kind and caring. We are very grateful for their efforts so far. Charlie will undergo an evaluation this week, in order to determine what is possible in terms of her mobility.
I will ask for your prayers, once again we are facing the unknown and it can be scary, we are thankful for our past experience, so we know that God will prevail and we should not give in to fear, but at this point, we are waiting for some tests to find out if the reason why Charlie can’t bend her knees and the cause of her severe drop foot, is caused by damage from her RA, or just due to the new skin, if the issue is joint damage from the RA, we will be facing a bigger problem, again we are trusting that God will once again perform a miracle and Charlie will have the best possible outcome in terms of her mobility, I kindly ask for your prayers.
Charlie was tired this morning, she didn’t sleep at all last night, I guess she was anxious and nervous about her new place, but when I got there this afternoon, she was happy and they were showering her, and I got to watch her wound care, I am now learning how to do it , so I can be helpful in case she needs wound care I once she is home.
Today I also spoke with ABC 8News - WRIC and thank you Olivia For covering Charlie's story.
Charlie Journey Continues and in this new chapter, the challenges will be somewhat more difficult! We need your prayers just as much as we did 5 months ago.
I will continue to write my Journal, since I see how many people are being inspired by Charlie's story, and I am also inspired by your words of support. Let's keep this mutual exchange of love and support. I contemplated stopping after Charlie left the hospital, but I don’t think it is time yet.
Thank you and May God Bless You!
