Day 169 | FEBRUARY 26, 2022

Good Evening Friends, today is day 169 of our new and amazing new life !

Saturday is the day to play with the boys 🙂

Today I am including a picture of each of our boys.

I had such a fun time with London and Julien, it is amazing to see how much Julien is developing, he is the cutest and so smart! London is so kind towards Julien and is heartwarming to see my two boys playing together.

After lunch I made may say to see Charlie , she actually called me during Lunch and she saw the boys and told me what additional items she needed me to bring to her, including her makeup 🙂

When I arrived at the hospital she had just finished her lunch and was in great spirits, she continued to receive the staff visits and today she received a few gifts from her nurse/ friends:) , they are genuinely going to miss her!

We are starting to remove items from her room. Tomorrow I am removing her personal fridge and bringing it over to her new room at Sheltering Arms, and of course her family pictures. this time I am going to be able to bring an orchid into her rehab room.

We talked about some of her goals for her rehabilitation stay. She has such a challenge and a long road ahead of her, but her determination is inspiring. Charlie is mentally strong and is already proving that she is ready to overcome pain!

The Rehabilitation asked for Charlie to have 2 wound care without the IV pain meds, well Charlie decided that she was going to do 4 Wound care without the IV meds and today she accomplished her second session, and she doesn’t complain!!! I am just amazed by her strength , it is beyond human ! And I am not exaggerating!!

We are now counting the days to the next chapter of this Incredible long journey.

It is still surreal for me that Charlie is really leaving the hospital on Tuesday .

Some of you had asked for the address of Sheltering Arms, please feel free to send Charlie encouragement cards, she will need it! She can also receive flowers and food, truly anything:), Charlie loves Orchids.

2000 Wilkes Ridge Dr, Richmond, VA 23233

Please send to the attention of Charlie Anne Xavier .

Thank you and May God Bless You!

Cheering on Charlie.

On Friday, September 10th, Charlie Anne Xavier was in a horrific and life-changing accident. Though she’s surprising her doctors and nurses daily with her incredible strength and resilience, this road to recovery will be an incredibly long one.
