Day 166 | FEBRUARY 23, 2022

Good Evening Friends, today is day 166 of our new and amazing life !

Today was a good day .

I had another busy morning, I started to contemplate the idea of moving this group into a blog, that way we can have a more permanent home, let me know what you think about this idea.

Today I arrived at the hospital and Charlie was doing her PT session and I had just missed her standing up with the help of a special machine , but Charlie being incredible strong, stood up once again even after had done 2 times before , just for me to see it 🙂 , she was in tears because of the pain , but she pushed it through, she is a true inspiration when it comes to overcoming pain! Charlie is strong!

After an incredibly busy morning and afternoon, Charlie was exhausted! She fell asleep and rested for 3 hours !!! I am so glad to see her resting, she is pushing herself hard on her PT and OT sessions .

Since her nap was extra long, we didn’t talk much today, but now we are getting close to having a discharge date secured, I will let you know once it is confirmed for sure !

I always mention the head rubs I give Charlie and that is how she falls asleep, so I decided to capture it in a picture for you to see how much love there is on this gesture of comfort.

Have a good night.

May God Bless you!!

Cheering on Charlie.

On Friday, September 10th, Charlie Anne Xavier was in a horrific and life-changing accident. Though she’s surprising her doctors and nurses daily with her incredible strength and resilience, this road to recovery will be an incredibly long one.
