Day 164 | FEBRUARY 21, 2022

Good Evening Friends, today is day 164 of our new and amazing new life!

Today was a good day!

I started my day with London by my face 🙂 dad is today a school day ? Yes! It is London, let’s get ready for a great day !

I was very excited about my visit with Charlie today, it would be her first shower since her accident!!

When I got to the hospital, Charlie had just finished her PT session and she did great! She was able to stand up with assistance twice and the pain was tolerable, she is doing so good with her PT!

It is still strange to enter her room without the hazmat suit, shoe cover and hair cover and gloves , now I can enter just like how I can in, no gloves, just my mask, of course I wash and sanitize my hand once I arrive .

Charlie was in a great mood and so excited to tell me all about her day!

The shower! Charlie told me that her shower was amazing! She said she experienced no pain!!! She said the water felt so good on her body , her nurses did a fantastic job in keeping her warm, they wrapped her with warm towels once she was done, below is a picture that captured her incredible feeling of comfort after her shower 🙂.

Charlie now will receive daily showers, they actually will do her wound care in the shower! She is healing so well!

We spend a good amount talking with her favorite nurses , now they come by and just chat with her 🙂 , we also watched a fun action movie and just have a very enjoyable visit , at 7:45p our Aupair texted me and ask if she could call me, London wanted to pray with his mom 🙂 , so we called and Charlie prayed with London for his bedtime , it was so sweet.

Today I also received the first chapter and sample from our editor ! I will review it and we may have our first chapter done this week 🙂

I am so grateful for Charlie’s recovery! Look how beautiful Charlie is ❤️

May God Bless You !

Cheering on Charlie.

On Friday, September 10th, Charlie Anne Xavier was in a horrific and life-changing accident. Though she’s surprising her doctors and nurses daily with her incredible strength and resilience, this road to recovery will be an incredibly long one.
