Day 161 | FEBRUARY 18, 2022

Good Evening Friends, today is day 161 of our new and amazing life.

Today I was awakened by London around 5:45a, he said dad, can I come to your bed , I am scared of the wind, I said sure, but why are you scared? Remember what I explained to you, when there is thunder it is because God clapped his hands, when there is lightning, God has snapped his fingers and when there is wind, God is blowing a cloud 🙂 , he looked at me and said, now I remember! You are right, the wind sound is actually relaxing , I am going back to my own bed 🙂 , I was so proud of him!

I made my way to the hospital and arrived there around 3:30pm. Charlie was in her chair just waiting for me. She had a very good day!

She was assigned one of her favorite nurses and she had a very productive day with PT, the highlight of the visit was when she was happy to tell me that she was able to stand up, with the help of her therapists, I wish you could see the smile on her face, as she told me about her incredible progress.

Yes, she has an incredible challenge ahead of her, but she is positive and looking forward to rehab. They will be moving her to a non ICU room in the next couple days, so she will have a shower in her room. She is so excited about her first shower !

We talked about the boys, and how tomorrow, Charlie asked for a meal from Chipotle:) , she is getting tired of the hospital food.
