Day 159 | FEBRUARY 16, 2022

Good Evening Friends, today is day 159 of our new and amazing life!

Today was a good day!

This morning went by so fast! Business is starting to pick up as we approach spring 🙂

I am very grateful for the support of so many people towards our business, and the ability to finally be able to focus at work and also be present for Charlie daily , it took me almost 3 months after the accident to be able to focus and actually be able to work, so yes , I am very grateful to be able to do it now .

Charlie had a good and busy day as well, when I arrived she was finishing with her Psychologist appointment, she also worked with PT/ OT , Charlie is making progress towards her discharge goals.

Charlie asked me to bring her an adult coloring book and coloring pencils, I am so impressed with her determination in using her left hand , and she is making visible improvements in regards to her cognitive development of her left hand use. You go Charlie !

We had a very pleasant visit, we talked about the boys, we talked about our future:), Charlie is just in a very positive mindset this week.

We also talked about how important our faith is and it’s role during this journey. We are just so grateful for God’s mercy and generosity towards us. During the humanly impossible challenge we had to face, without God, Charlie would not have survived, we are sure of that!

We also have been listening to the Brene Brown podcast Unlocking Us, I highly recommend it.

I am so thankful for all your prayers and support!

May God Bless You

André

Cheering on Charlie.

On Friday, September 10th, Charlie Anne Xavier was in a horrific and life-changing accident. Though she’s surprising her doctors and nurses daily with her incredible strength and resilience, this road to recovery will be an incredibly long one.
