Day 149 | FEBRUARY 06, 2022

Good Evening Friends, today is day 149 of our new and amazing life!

Sunday! The favorite day of the week, you did not disappoint:)

As usual, today I attended Mass and I took London with me. I was so proud of him. He behaved very well and paid attention to the Mass, and as a reward we got some doughnuts on our way back home .

After a small lunch I made my way to see Charlie and made a stop at Mission BBQ to grab Charlie’s dinner 🙂, she loves BBQ and asked for a sweet tea to drink .

When I arrived at the hospital, Charlie was seated in her chair and she looked beautiful.

When I entered she was so excited about her dinner and took me a second but I noticed that she was talking and not holding the bandage on her neck !!!!

I asked her , Charlie ! How are you talking without pressing the bandage to block the air from leaking from the trachea hole ?

Her nurse who was in the room, very excited, told me that when she changed the bandage on Charlie trachea today, she was shocked to see that the hole was almost closed !! She said it is about 80% closed in 24h!

I was shocked ! Because just yesterday , I was told by the doctor that did the procedure and he told me 5 days for Charlie’s , but most patients take a week!

I am so grateful for the continuing healing and for God’s grace towards Charlie and our family!

We watched a movie today, Stronger, about one of the survivors of the Boston Marathon bombing, it was incredible to see his struggles, but also made realize even more how strong Charlie is !

Today was a very good day! I am beyond grateful and So surprised by Charlie's fast healing!

Please continue with your powerful prayers!

May God Bless You!

Cheering on Charlie.

On Friday, September 10th, Charlie Anne Xavier was in a horrific and life-changing accident. Though she’s surprising her doctors and nurses daily with her incredible strength and resilience, this road to recovery will be an incredibly long one.
