Day 138 | JANUARY 26, 2022
Good Evening Friends, today is day 138 of our new and amazing life !
Today was a very good day.
Today I made my way to the host and got there around 2:30pm, I was surprised to see Charlie in a very good mood!
When I left last night, I was heartbroken to see her in so much pain, and today she was in a much better pain level, and she was back to her happy self 🙂
Charlie was eager to talk with me about our future, she shared with me her desire to share her story with the world, she also told me that she is very aware of her challenges ahead, but she is also so grateful for her life !
Now, we both know how close she was to death! So Gratitude is almost inevitable when you understand that.
I am so proud of Charlie. During this entire journey, Charlie never complained about her situation, She never mentioned giving up, and I only saw her crying twice !
Charlie is an inspiration to me and her strength is unbelievable.
Today her surgeon stopped by and we had a great conversation with him. We talked about future surgeries, we talked about how far we have come since the day Charlie arrived there, we are so grateful for his expertise and experience, he helped to save Charlie’s life !
Charlie is now eating her calories via a regular diet:) No more feeding tubes ! A huge step forward!
We are getting close to having a better idea of when Charlie will be going to rehab, I will let you know once we have it confirmed!
This life is starting to take shape, and I can tell you that I was right when I first said it would be amazing!
It is such an incredible feeling to be given a second chance , and this time around we are the creators of our new life ! We can choose how to leave and we have chosen Gratitude and Vulnerability!
God is amazing for the ones that trust in him !
Thank you for your prayers! It really helped Charlie to feel better today!
May God Bless You
André
