Day 136 | JANUARY 24, 2022

Good Evening Friends, today is day 136 of our new and amazing life!

Today was a good day.

Mondays are always busy for me with work, after lunch I made my way to the hospital to see Charlie , I made a quick stop at Lampo Pizza, to grab Charlie some dinner, she asked for a delicious meatball sandwich with a side of Brussels sprouts, if you live in Charlottesville you know how amazing the food is at Lampo:)

Charlie was so happy to see me with her dinner. She had a busy day with PT, wound care , and preparations for tomorrow’s surgery!! Yes, the day for her final CEA surgery has arrived!

Only God knows how much I have dreamed of this day!

Tomorrow at 7:30a Charlie will enter the OR for the final touch up of CEA on her body, I ask for your prayers that tomorrow surgery goes well and that Charlie recovers quickly from her trip to the OR.

It is amazing to look back and see how far Charlie has come ! Still hard to believe that we are here ! Charlie has been a fighter and we are so grateful for God’s Grace and his miracle towards our family! We are also so grateful for your love, prayers and support!

Tomorrow is a big day, we will be one step closer to the hospital door! She will still have some more healing to do, but the rehabilitation center will start to get ready to welcome Charlie very soon 🙂

Thank you so much for all your generosity!

May God Bless You !

Cheering on Charlie.

On Friday, September 10th, Charlie Anne Xavier was in a horrific and life-changing accident. Though she’s surprising her doctors and nurses daily with her incredible strength and resilience, this road to recovery will be an incredibly long one.
