Day 113 | JANUARY 01, 2022

Good Evening Friends, today is day 113 of our new and amazing life!

On the first day of this year, I am grateful for the blessings that I have, and they are so many !

I know that this year will be an amazing one for the simple fact that Charlie will be home this year! I can’t express how much I am looking forward for that very special day, but I also know that we still have a long journey before that day, once Charlie is able to leave the hospital, she has to go to rehabilitation and we don’t know yet how long she will be there, but I know that each phase that we pass, is one step closer to be coming home .

Charlie was in good spirits today, her pain level is starting to improve and she was comfortable today, we talked about how amazing this year will be, and how grateful we are for this miraculous second chance at life God gave us, and how we are committed to make this new and amazing life very meaningful, we could not be happier for our future.

We also reinforced our commitment to only focus on what we can control and to stay in the present as much as possible with brief positive outlooks into our future, we also agreed to only look back on our past as a reminder of lessons learned , but not to focus on things that we can’t control or change .

Today’s visit was great, we talked for a couple hours , we watched a couple of our shows and I was home earlier enough to tuck London into bed.

Today was a very good day!
