Day 110 | DECEMBER 29, 2021

Good Evening Friends, today is day 110 of our new and amazing life!

Last night , I was up until 2am, calling the hospital every couple hours to check on Charlie and see if she was off the ventilator, sadly she was on the ventilator at the 2:00am call.

Early this morning, I called to check on her and around 8:30a she was off the ventilator and ordering her breakfast. I was so relieved to hear that update! Well, our prayers were answered Charlie is off the ventilator and is doing well, thank you God!

Charlie was taking a nap when I arrived , but she woke up the moment I got into her room. She was so excited to see me , and she was in a very good mood.

We chatted and I showed her pictures of our boys , and talked about her surgery. She told me that her donor site is where she is feeling the most pain, that is the most painful part normally for her.

Today her pain is starting to subside and she is feeling more comfortable. Charlie is just so strong and fact that she can recuperate from a very long surgery yesterday in less than 24h is just amazing!

I am so grateful for her recovery and for her being off the ventilator today !

It is great to be able to talk with Charlie. Today she really enjoyed some yummy treats, her nurse made her a delicious strawberry milkshake, using milk and strawberry ice cream and some vanilla protein shake, and of course her beloved sweet tea.

We picked up a new show today, the Mayor of Kingstown on paramount network, Charlie and I love crime shows.

Well my friends, God is amazing and I am so grateful for his generosity towards us.

I would like to ask your help once again, we would love to achieve our GoFundMe goal, we are so close, and we just have 48h left until the end of the year. I believe we have the power in this group to make it happen, I thank you if you have already donated and I thank you for sharing this message with your friends. As you may know , any funds not used on Charlie’s medical needs will be donated to a charity of Charlie's Choice.

Thank you and May God Bless You!

Cheering on Charlie.

On Friday, September 10th, Charlie Anne Xavier was in a horrific and life-changing accident. Though she’s surprising her doctors and nurses daily with her incredible strength and resilience, this road to recovery will be an incredibly long one.
