Day 108 | DECEMBER 27, 2021

Good Evening Friends, today is day 108 of our new and amazing life !

Today for the first time both boys didn’t wake up at their usual 6:30am, they woke up at 8am, no idea why.

After a busy morning at work, after lunch I stop by the store to buy Charlie her favorite fruits, watermelon and honeydew and some drinks, like a Starbucks Frappuccino, sweet tea and green juice, the perks of having a little fridge in her room.

Charlie was a little more quiet today, but she was in a good mood. She was doing her OT therapy when I first arrived , and they worked on her legs today, since tomorrow she will undergo her CEA application surgery to her legs and feet. After the surgery she will be unable to work on her legs for 2 weeks, but it is hard to believe that we are getting close to the end of her surgeries. After tomorrow, we may have 3 or 4 more. We need to wait for her healing to know how many more will be needed.

Charlie and I watched our Yellowstone episode, and after we just talked, Charlie is starting to ask questions about our future and that makes me so happy! She is also wondering about the care of her new skin, so there is a lot to be done on this new phase of her recovery.

We had a really good visit, and Charlie also received 30 cards or so today , from the folks that saw the Puppy named Charlie S Xavier , she really loved the cards.

I kindly ask for your prayers for tomorrow’s surgery, she will go in at 7:30am.

Thank you and May God Bless You !

André

Cheering on Charlie.

On Friday, September 10th, Charlie Anne Xavier was in a horrific and life-changing accident. Though she’s surprising her doctors and nurses daily with her incredible strength and resilience, this road to recovery will be an incredibly long one.
