Day 107 | DECEMBER 26, 2021

Good Evening Friends, today is day 107 of our new and amazing life.

Today was a good day!

This morning I had a fantastic time with London. We got up early and made our way to Patch, to do a 3D capture of our main building that is under renovation, to capture it before the dry wall went up. London was so excited to help me, and he actually did a very good job!

He is so eager to learn and I can actually say that he did a very good job following instructions. We had such a great time, it was great to see how much he has grown since September. London is a very smart and sweet boy.

The highlight of my day was when London asked me on our ride back home, dad are you proud of me?!

At that moment my heart melted, how powerful that question was. I realized how much he needed my approval, it also made me realize how much my actions and examples can impact his perception of me as his father. Of course I am so proud of you London ! He had the biggest smile !

I absolutely love how curious London is, and I take every opportunity to give him as much information as possible, no question goes unanswered, it amazes me to see his brain taking in the information as a sponge, today we talked about gratitude and positive attitude, he was really excited to tell me the top 5 reasons why he is grateful today!

He said:

1- to be alive

2- for the trees

3-for his mom

4-for his friends

5-for the sun

In that specific order, I found it so interesting how he mentioned trees and the sun! He loves to be outside, he also loves his mommy and he loves his friends! It made perfect sense for his 5 years old mind

After our fun morning, we returned home just on time for lunch.

I made my way to see Charlie at my usual time, and she was in a very good mood today.

Charlie was sleeping when i arrived, but she quickly woke up and I was very excited to tell her , everything that I just told you

She was so happy to hear how much I enjoyed my time in London, and we talked about her day. She had a very uneventful day, and I was very happy to hear that.

We watched the Netflix show “Becoming “ with Michelle Obama, it was very good and Charlie really enjoyed it.

Charlie is starting to have an appetite , besides the fact that she is continuing to receive her full nutrition via her nasogastric tube, she loves her watermelon and honeydews

Today was a very good visit, low key and fun.

We had a blessed day!

Thank you and May God Bless You!

Cheering on Charlie.

On Friday, September 10th, Charlie Anne Xavier was in a horrific and life-changing accident. Though she’s surprising her doctors and nurses daily with her incredible strength and resilience, this road to recovery will be an incredibly long one.
