Day 106 | DECEMBER 25, 2021
Good Evening Friends , today is day 106 of our new and amazing life!
Merry Christmas!
Today was a day that I had feared for a while since the day of Charlie’s accident. I spent several days crying and sad about Charlie missing Christmas.
I am so thankful for being able to overcome the fear, and today I can say with absolute certainty that this Christmas is a very special and happy one ! Yes! It is actually one of the best Christmases we ever had, and the reason for it is Love! I am so grateful for God’s love and for Charlie’s life ! I am so grateful for my family's health and for the incredible generosity of so many people towards our family !
Yes, it is absolutely heartbreaking to see Charlie at the ICU and always from our boys , but how can I not be grateful that she is alive ! I chose to see the positive, I chose to trust in God and know that Charlie will come home!
Today, the day we celebrate Jesus' birth into our world! I just have gratitude towards God , his love towards us humans and by him sending his only son to save humankind from sin. Thank You God for your love!
This morning London was up at 6:15 am , and he woke me up. He is actually concerned, he says: Dad, I don’t think that Santa came ! To which I replied half asleep, why?!
He continued to tell me, there is no snow on the ground! Santa doesn’t come if there is no snow ! Said him with a disappointed voice, I quickly got out of bed and said, actually Santa did come, I heard him ! So we started to make our way downstairs very quietly, since the whole house was still asleep, and he stopped me half way through the stairs, sad I forgot to put cookies and milk to Santa ! And I said without moving, well I got you covered, I did leave him a cookie and milk! The London smile was priceless!
So we got downstairs and found Santa cookies half eaten and his glass of milk almost empty! London was so happy to see evidence of Santa's visit!
Off course Santa came and left London and Julien their gifts, and our boys were spoiled this year, with so many gifts from our incredible friends and family.
I am so grateful for all the kindness and generosity towards our family this Christmas.
My mom and I attended our Christmas Day mass, and it felt amazing to hear the choir sing and to receive the body and blood of Christ.
Today my visit with Charlie was a good one , we watched a movie on Netflix, “don’t look up “ and it was funny and entertaining, we talked for a good amount, just reviewing everything that we are grateful for, this morning Charlie video called the boys and got to see them opening some gifts, she was so happy!
I kindly ask for your continued support and prayers.
I sincerely wish you a Merry Christmas, I pray that you find your way into gratitude!
Have a good night, May God Bless You !
Now is a good time to invite your family members to join this group and learn about Charlie’s story of love and survival!
